This t-shirt was a swap - at around midnight on the platform of a metro train station in Montreal! Having marched into the Olympic Stadium with the Kiwi team amongst 9000 other participants of the 1st World Outgames in 2006, we were on a high. The opening ceremony was over but the party continued as thousands of gay and lesbian people from all over the world were waiting for the trains to go back to the city. No trains in sight, so we started swapping shirts - the striking design of this one stood out, and it's owner was happy to swap for anything with the words "New Zealand" on it! I love this t-shirt for the memory of that trip and also because it's such a great design.
